Valence Energy delivers innovative energy management solutions and services that empower organizations and communities to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint by developing and deploying a "smart microgrid". The Valence solution monitors, analyzes and controls distributed energy generation as well as power consumption devices to optimize usage, reliability and costs.

Valence Energy evolved out of a multi-disciplinary prize-winning team of engineers from the U.S. Department of Energy's International Solar Decathlon, leading the category for balancing energy generation and consumption. Our management team has decades of combined experience in execution, strategy and sales. The team has evolved to develop a solution that helps customers enact a comprehensive energy management strategy to optimize energy across a facility, campus or community development. Today we work closely with our customers and partners to design, deploy and manage smart microgrid solutions. Our customers include educational institutions, enterprises, building developers, and local and federal governments.
